Visit Dinosaurs: UNEXTINCT at the L.A. Zoo and welcome the newest additions to the Diabloceratops family!
On July 8th, we were invited to witness what was hatching over at the Los Angeles Zoo and we were so excited to meet the baby dinosaurs. Seven adorable Diabloceratops joined the dinosaur family at Dinosaurs: UNEXTINCT. Three girls and four boys hatched right beside their mother. It was an awesome morning!
These newborns join 17 other life-size animatronic dinosaurs in this spectacular exhibit that takes visitors back in time to a land where Dinosaurs ruled. We had so much fun exploring Dinosaurs: UNEXTINCT and welcoming the baby Diabloceratops.
We learned about the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex, one of the largest and most powerful dinosaurs from the Cretaceous period 65 million years ago. We also uncovered a Maiasaura fossil, an herbivore, at the Fossil Dig. We were able to get up close to some of the rarest dinosaurs I have ever seen and we can't wait to go back for more!
Be sure to visit the Los Angeles Zoo all Summer long and get your tickets for Dinosaurs: UNEXTINCT. This adventure will only be available until October 31, 2016 and is open daily from 10am-4pm. Admission to this exhibit is $5 per person plus the cost of general zoo admission.
Don't forget to stop by the gift shop at the end of the exhibit for some rare and exciting souvenirs!
