Fall into Fun with Curious George at Discovery Cube Los Angeles!

This month a new friend will be joining us at Discovery Cube Los Angeles! As we say farewell to Clifford the Big Red Dog, we are preparing to welcome Curious George with an all new, hands-on exhibit called Curious George: Let's Get CuriousThis curious little monkey has captured the hearts of millions over the years. My children have grown up enjoying all of Curious George's mischievous antics and laughed along with him on many adventures.

Starting September 19th, your little explorers will have the opportunity to embark on a new adventure with Curious George. This exciting new exhibit will include interactive math, science, engineering and much more educational fun. Upon entering the Curious George: Let's Get Curious! exhibit, you will be instantly transported to the Big City where George lives with The Man in the Yellow Hat.

There is so much fun in store for you at the Curious George: Let's Get Curious! exhibit. Here are just a few of the individual attractions that will bring this exhibit to life:

Apartment Building
Experiment with wheels and pulleys to move George from window to window.  Also, learn the science behind color, light, and shadow as you climb in and out of the building.

Sidewalk Produce Stand
Play the part of customer or salesperson to explore shapes, sorting, weighing, and counting with fruits and vegetables!

Construction Site
Climb into the construction trailer to design a building! Here you can use a bounty of building
materials, and machines, to construct different structures.

City Park
Take pictures with a full-size George at the city park! Here our youngest visitors can also enjoy a wall of activities just for babies and toddlers.

Mini Golf
Conduct physics and engineering experiments using pipes, ramps, funnels, turntables, bumpers, and force to putt through three holes of mini golf.

Space Rocket
Climb into the rocket George took on his famous space adventure! Here you can find George in his space suit and take pictures from the control station!

Take a vacation out to the country to visit the farm. Here you will experience cause and effect, using wind power to move yard art like whirligigs, windmills, windsocks, and wind chimes. You can also build your own whirligig and take care of the farm animals!

Museum Within the Museum
At the museum, learn more about Curious George. Find out how the authors saved the manuscript during World War II, and take a look at the history of this this historic little monkey.
