Jim Henson's Enchanted Sisters: Summer's Friendship Games

Last month was "Get Caught Reading" Month and we celebrated with a wonderful new book from The Jim Henson Company called Enchanted Sisters: Summer's Friendship Games. The Enchanted Sisters are four beautiful girls named Autumn, Spring, Winter and Summer. Autumn thinks deep thoughts and wears her heart on her sleeve while Spring gleefully chats with plants and animals in their own language. Winter craves adventure and the spotlight and can never say no to a dare. Then there is Summer! Summer races and leaps like the fiercest jungle cat and is the leader of the sparkly pack.

These Enchanted Sisters live steps away from the human realm and when they're not busy changing our seasons, they play, imagine and have wild adventures in their enchanted world.

In Summer's Friendship Games, the Enchanted Sisters and the Weeds set up a series of challenges to determine which team of magical siblings is more talented. The Weeds are the boys of the wicked Bluster Tempest. During the competition, her sisters' jealousy threatens Summer's friendship with one of the Weeds. At some point, she will be faced with a hard decision...winning or her friend?

My daughter, Mya, is currently reading this wonderful book and after she finishes each chapter, she gives me a summary of what has happened so far. It sounds like Summer will make the right decision.

Disclosure: I was not paid for this post. I was given a sample copy of the book in order to facilitate my review. These are just my two cents!
