I put together a list of some places that I think would be fun for the whole family and make Mom feel super special on Mother's Day. I included some fun events going on as well as some day trips and overnight getaways that Mom is sure to enjoy!
1.) A Trip to Catalina Island!
There is so much fun to be had in Avalon, CA. Your family can spend the day enjoying water activities like snorkeling or swimming. You can take a family tour around the island in a jeep. 2.) Fowler Museum at UCLA!

3.) A Day in Long Beach!
I love getting out to Long Beach with my family. We always have so much fun exploring the city. A day filled with family activities and good food is the perfect way to celebrate Mother's Day. Here are a few fun things to do and great places to eat in Long Beach:

4.) Disneyland/ Knott's Berry Farm/ Universal Studios!
Amusement parks are always fun anytime of the year so why not on Mother's Day? Plenty of great memories can be made while enjoying the rides and food! Discount tickets can be found online and at local grocery stores. The family fun doesn't stop when you leave the parks. Each of these theme parks offers additional fun just beyond the park limits.

5.) Brunch at Callender's Grill and Bakery And Café!
We have been enjoying our family brunches at one particular Callender's Grill for years. Located at:

There are so many reasons to have brunch here this Mother's Day. The food is always wonderful, but that's not all. The location is great and the architecture of the building is amazing. Another favorite family destination is Santa Barbara. It's such a beautiful and relaxing place to visit. There is nothing I enjoy more than a short road trip to a great city.
