I found two really easy recipes that sound delicious and I knew my kids would want to help make them. We love making yogurt smoothies at home so when I came across the recipe for an Oatmeal Cookie Dough Smoothie on page 66, I just had to try it! The kids selected the recipe for Fruit Kebabs with Yogurt Dipping Sauce on page 131. (We spell it kabob, but I say tomato, etc...)
The smoothies turned out amazing!!! They tasted just like oatmeal cookies, but healthier and more satisfying. My kids really liked the fruit skewers and they thought the dipping sauce tasted like frosting...score! Eating healthy can be fun and easy. We are going to start incorporating Greek Yogurt into a lot of our recipes from here on out!
