Westfield Topanga announced today that it will kick off the holiday shopping season with four stores opening at 8pm on Thanksgiving Day, including Macy’s, Target, Sears and GAP.  ALL retailers will be open at midnight on Black Friday, allowing savvy shoppers to take advantage of door-buster deals and special retailer offers.  A complete list of store opening times and special offers is available at http://www.westfield.com/us/black-friday.    

 

Black Friday will also mark the launch of Westfield’s national “Magical Moments’ campaign.  Shopping will be easy and more enjoyable with a little help from the “Merry Makers”—the focal point of Westfield’s holiday campaign.  Professionally trained actors, dressed as fashion-forward holiday caricatures, will surprise and delight customers with unexpected random acts of kindness such as carrying shopping bags, giving away gift cards and free samples, and even purchasing gifts for customers. The Merry Makers will be at Westfield Topanga beginning Black Friday weekend, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 8pm, and they will also be making special appearances on December 23 and 24 to make last minute shopping more enjoyable and convenient.

 

Westfield’s “Magical Moments” décor will be also on display with oversized ornaments and larger-than-life trees that will also provide a festive home for Santa. The largest tree measures a towering 36 feet and features a walk-through that will allow customers to engage with a touch screen interactive ornament, a wall of silver mirrored spheres and a family photo booth. A special light show display, which runs every thirty minutes, will also be featured during the holidays.

Westfield Topanga will also be hosting a special Google Winter Wonderlab, featuring new gadgets such as the Nexus 7. Shoppers will be able to make a slow motion video in the giant snow globe or simply escape the holiday hustle with endless games, music, and videos.   

In addition, this holiday season, the @Samsung Mobile USA Galaxy Studio is coming to Westfield Topanga. Stop by now through December 31.to experience the latest Galaxy devices: the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Gear, Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition and more.

 

Another way Westfield is making the shopping experience easier this holiday season is through the Santa Photos FastPass program. Shoppers who purchase their Santa photo packages in advance via www.westfield.com/us/holiday/fast-pass will have access to the FastPass line entry for faster time to Santa on their selected day. Other special holiday services include gift wrapping, valet, bag carryout, shopping concierge, and a ride to your car.
