We have watched The Smurfs: The Legend of Smurfy Hollow about 100 times so far and couldn't wait to watch it again with some of our favorite friends at Sony Pictures Imageworks. We started off with a screening of the mini-movie and my kids were so excited to watch it on the big screen. After the screening, we all headed out to the courtyard to partake in all the Halloween festivities. There was so much fun to be had! We didn't know where to start. My youngest took off in a full sprint to see everything the property had to offer. We were surrounded by all things Sony Pictures Animation from The Smurfs2 to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 and Hotel Transylvania. I was in Animation Heaven!
The kids were all dressed in their costumes and had a blast running around the Sony courtyard. We posed for dozens of photos, we stuffed our faces with treats, we decorated pumpkins, we had caricatures done, we Trick-or-Treated, we hung out with Papa Smurf, Clumsy Smurf & Smurfette all while spending time with our friends. We couldn't have asked for a better way to spend the day.
The Smurfs: The Legend of Smurfy Hollow is available on DVD now!
Here's a little Smurfy Halloween fun for your family. Below is a pumpkin template of Brainy Smurf. Just print it out and follow the steps below:
1.) Attach the printable to your pumpkin using tape.
2.) Use a tack to poke holes through the pattern and into the pumpkin to outline the black areas of your design.
3.) Remove the pattern from your pumpkin.
4.) Cut along the tack holes to carve out the black areas.
5.) Show off your Smurfy Pumpkin!
