The Wii U Experience!

My family had the chance to test out the highly anticipated Wii U last weekend and it definitely lived up to all of my son's expectations! He loved it and has already added it to his Christmas Wish List. The event featured a few upcoming titles such as Nintendo Land, SiNG PARTY and the New Super Mario Bros. U. The Wii U has quickly become the next obsession because it takes standard gaming to another level with it's innovative GamePad. The Wii U GamePad offers a second window into the video game world with a 6.2 inch LCD touch screen right on the face of the controller. The GamePad includes motion control, a front-facing camera, microphone, stereo speakers, rumble features, a stylus and so much more.

Mya got the chance to test out Just Dance 4 and Wii Fit U. She killed her Just Dance 4 demo! The tracklist offers over 40 of the hottest tracks that range in genre from pop and hip hop to old school from artists such as Barry White.

Jackson didn't want to stop playing Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition. When his demo was over we literally had to drag him out of the room! The GamePad offers so many awesome features for this version of the Batman games. The enhanced gameplay mechanics are insane!
We had a great time playing all of the games and even had the chance to hang out with Mario himself! We took a bunch of fun photos and met some great people. The kids really had a lot of fun.

We cannot wait for the Wii U to drop on November 18th! The hard part is deciding which color to get? The Wii U Basic comes in White and the Wii U Deluxe comes in Black. Hmmmm...decisions, decisions!

  1. So glad you all had a great time playing on the Wii. We have a Wii but it seems like everyone else I know just uses iPads and such for their games now. This is good to hear!

  2. Can it still stream Netflix and Hulu? And what about the Wii Fit part? That's what I use mine for. Or should be using mine for.

  6. I love the concept of the WiiU, sadly I have yet to find a game that really makes it shine.

I wish they would release a Harvest Moon kinda game for it, but unfortunately it seems they are only coming for the DS.

How are your kids finding the WiiU at this point in time. Are they still enjoying it a lot?
