Celebrating the End of Summer with Tillamook Ice Cream!

Our kids started school this month instead of the usual September which means our Summer was cut drastically short. Needless to say, my kids were upset about ending their Summer so early, but one thing made them feel really happy about starting school...a Tillamook Ice Cream Social! Tillamook ice cream is finally available in California and I was so excited to try it out. We had Oregon Strawberry, Vanilla Bean, Udderly Chocolate, Marionberry Pie and Tillamook Mudslide! Don't they all just sound amazing?

When my kids got home from their first day of school, I had everything set up for the perfect ice cream social. We had whipped cream, maraschino cherries, sprinkles, marshmallows, root beer and the star of the show was our fabulous Tillamook Ice Cream. We spent the afternoon making ice cream sundaes and root beer floats! Yummy! They had such a great time and asked if we could have an ice cream social everyday after school!

It took me a few days, but I finally was able to try all 5 flavors and I honestly can't pick a favorite. Each flavor is so rich and creamy. I just found out that Pavilions carries Tillamook Ice Cream so I plan on getting my hands on some Mint Chip!!!
