Summer Fun with Watermelon: Part III

Today, my kids asked me for slushies so I started slicing up the watermelon that we always seem to have in our fridge.

All you need is:

Watermelon
1/2 cup Apple juice (I use Mott's Medleys so they get some veggie juice in there too!)
Whipped cream (totally optional)
Ice
Fruit garnish (I used blackberries & cherries)
Blender

Cut up the watermelon and place it in blender along with apple juice and ice. Blend until ice is crushed. Top with whipped cream and garnish with fruit. Throw in a fun bendy straw and you're good to go. Nothing like a cool watermelon slushie on a hot Summer day!

    1. Why be so insulting? Do you have nothing better to spend your time on?
