Foster Farms Keeps it Real with New Corn Dogs!

I was recently approached by Foster Farms to check out their new corn dogs and, of course, I agreed because I love food! I was so pleased to find out that the new Foster Farms corn dogs are made with 100% Whole Grain on the outside and California Grown, no "plump", chicken dogs on the inside. The new corn dogs have far less sodium than the average lunch options. A peanut butter and jelly pocket contains about 575mg of sodium. The Foster Farms Whole Grain Lower-Fat Chicken Corn Dog has only about 375mg of sodium per serving. That same peanut butter and jelly pocket contains about 30g of fat while the Foster Farms Whole Grain Lower-Fat Chicken Corn Dog has only 8g of fat.

They were a huge hit with my kids. I served them up with a side salad, steamed veggies and applesauce.  They were easy to prepare and made for a great "quick fix" in the afternoon when your children are hungry and impatient and yelling "hurry up and please feed me!"

As a mother of 3 young children, it makes me feel good to know that Foster Farms promotes happy and healthy lifestyles. If you are ever curious about the nutritional value of a Foster Farms product, just ask Nancy Bennett. She is the online Nutrition Consultant for Foster Farms.

Disclosure: I was not paid or compensated for this post. I was offered a sample product in order to facilitate my review. These are just my two cents!
