Brrrrr...It's Winter!!!

I'm sure it came as no surprise to my fellow San Fernando Valley residents when our temperatures shot up to the 80's last week! It was definitely HOT outside and luckily I knew just what to do.

My friends at WHAM-O toys sent me an awesome new Slip N' Slide to review and I must say that Slip N' Slide has come a long way since I was a kid. We had the pleasure of spending our Tuesday afternoon slipping and sliding on the Slip N' Slide Hydroplane Double. It literally took my brother 5 minutes to open the box and set it up. Super easy and super fast which is perfect for my impatient kids!

This thing is AWESOME! It has two lanes for side-by-side racing and it includes two inflatable body boards to race down your lane with.

The best part of the Hydroplane Double is the extra large pool at the end of the slide. When I was a kid we would just slide right off the slide into the grass and I can remember getting grass in my mouth every time!

My youngest son wasn't quite ready for the sliding action so he enjoyed hanging out in the pool section. But he sure did love the bright orange boards!

This Slip N' Slide also has tons of spray action! The water just shoots out of everywhere. My Grandmother enjoyed just sitting outside and watching us play. She said the Slip N' Slide looked like a fountain and she wanted to leave the water running all night.

We had so much fun laughing and sliding. The kids didn't want to stop, but it started to get chilly out so I had to wrap it up. I can't wait until the Summer heat kicks in. I am already planning a Sliding party and the first thing that pops into my head is FOOD...Sliders of course!
