Noah's Ark at Skirball

Our friends have been telling us about Noah's Ark at the Skirball Cultural Center for awhile now and we finally made it a point to check it out. It was more than we expected it to be. The entrance to the Ark was amazing. So much attention to detail and very whimsical. I have always believed that education can be fun and here at Noah's Ark they proved me right!

From hand cranking pulleys to storm generators, the kids were entertained and excited about discovering what each individual exhibit did. Inside the Ark the kids were shocked when they saw a smaller version of the Ark filled with two of every animal for them to play with. My daughter loved the fact there were animals everywhere!

They climbed up ropes, crawled through tunnels & played with blocks.

They cooked over an open fire then sat around the table and shared their feast.

We spent about an hour in the Ark then decided to step outside and have a little lunch.
We found a drop-in Art Studio where the kids had fun making rag dolls.
After about two hours the kids were exhausted and it was time to leave. We had a great time and look forward to going back to the Skirball Cultural Center in the Fall. Check out their website for upcoming events!

  1. Wow! That looks FANTASTIC! I have always wanted to go to the Skirball, but never have yet. Seeing these pictures just proves to me how much FUN my 3 year old would have! I will definitely make it a point to go now. Thanks!
My favorite part is the Mini-Ark filled with Animals that the kids can play with...
