LA Street Food Fest 2010!

Holy Hot Dogs! The LA Street Food Fest is coming to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA! I don't know about you, but I love food and just the thought of being able to sample all kinds of delicious grub from a variety of vendors has my pulse racing and keeping me up at nights! If I could sleep in the Rose Bowl parking lot the night before...I Would! This event is going to be HUGE and you don't want to miss it.

Founders Sonja Rasula (UNIQUE LA) and Shawna Dawson (Sauce LA) are bringing this delicious event to you in just a few weeks! There will be over 60 vendors at this event from hot gourmet trucks and old school carts to celebrity chefs and LA's best restaurants. These vendors will be serving up street inspired eats such as hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, pizza, churros, sweets and so much more. You will also be served up some of the more trendy gourmet yummies that my mouth is watering for!

This Summer Tasting will also include a Cook-Off Competition and a double-header concert from two LA bands. You might even get treated to a special performance by America's Best Dance Crew! That's not all! You can't eat all of that food and not have something to wash it down with. The Food Fest will be offering samples of beer, cocktails, tequila and gourmet juices.

The Food Fest is on July 24th and the most important thing you need to know is that there will be NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR! The tickets are available for PRE-SALE ONLY & ONLINE ONLY! Don't be lazy and tell yourself "I'll get them tomorrow", they will be sold out by then! Tickets start at $45 and include all the food and drinks you can possibly sample plus photo booth fun, mini spa treatments and a live concert. For an additional $20 your VIP ticket will give you early access to the event before the general public as well as access to a private VIP parking lot.

Just so you don't feel guilty about stuffing your face until you pass out, the founders of the LA Street Food Fest want you to know that partial proceeds from each ticket sold will benefit two local causes. St. Vincent Meals on Wheels and Woolly School Gardens. Just knowing that I am helping my community makes me want to eat more!!!
