FabKids.com: Jumping for April!

Another month means another fabulous outfit from FabKids.com! This month is all about the Jumper. Jumpers are a great Spring and Summer addition to a little girl's wardrobe. It's literally an entire outfit in one easy piece of clothing. Mya is in love with her new Purple Ruffle Jumper from FabKids.com. The pattern is amazing and the colors are adorable, but that's not all. The fabric used to make this jumper is outstanding! It's the perfect blend of Rayon and Spandex which results in a soft and stretchy jumper. The Purple Ruffle Jumper is comfortable against her skin and will survive the multiple washes that lie ahead.

Mya is just like her Grandmother and GreatGrandmother...she loves shoes! When she saw these bright Neon Cutout Sandals she literally jumped for joy. The colors are everything! She has already declared that she will be wearing them "all Summer long!" and I believe it. Don't they look just perfect with the Purple Ruffle Jumper?

Get on over to FabKids.com and start your VIP Membership now! You don't want to miss another month of affordable and fun fashions.
Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. I received an April outfit in order to facilitate my review. These are just my two cents!

Spring Cleaning Made Easy with the Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away!

It's finally Spring! For me, Spring means it's time to get organized and really give the house a good cleaning. Clear up some clutter and get into places that may have been ignored over the Winter. Between running around all day from school to baseball practice for 3 kids and rushing to get homework and laundry done in the evenings, I tend to overlook vacuuming for a few days...ok, weeks. Let's keep it real! When that happens my floors look crazy! I have gone through quite a few vacuums over the years after having my children. I may or may not have sucked up a LEGO or two! With all of my previous vacuums my complaints have always stayed consistent. Loss of suction strength and the lack of versatility.

My home has stairs...a lot of stairs. From the 1st floor to the 3rd floor and it's not fun for me to haul my dino-vac up and down the stairs trying to get the house cleaned. I'll admit it, most of the time I just vacuum downstairs and ignore the stairs and bedrooms. Shame on me! Before I know it the stairs look like an obstacle course of debris and the bedrooms are suffering. That's why I am so excited to tell you about my latest and greatest discovery. The Shark Rotator with Powered Lift-Away is an amazing helper.

"The patented innovation of Shark Lift-Away takes the cleaning power of the Rotator anywhere dirt tries to hide. Clean from the floor to ceiling and anywhere in between with the power of Lift-Away."

The swivel design of this vacuum makes my life so much easier. It literally fits under the tables, around the couch and into most hard-to-reach areas of my home. Vacuuming downstairs was a snap. The true test was taking this bad boy upstairs. The Shark Rotator transformed from a standard upright vacuum into a 2-piece Lift-Away in one swift click and I was off to battle!

Check out this little video Mya filmed of Jackson vacuuming under the dining table:

The rug under my dining table always ends up with crumbs following every meal. Cereal, veggies, noodles, you name it...you will find it under there! By the time my kids were done vacuuming the rug it looked brand new and my kids really like the bright lights! I also have hardwood floors and the Shark Rotator comes with an awesome attachment called the HardFloor Genie and it was just perfect on my hardwood floors. This is the first time my kids have actually wanted to help me clean up around the house and who I am to say no?!?! Even my youngest got it on all the Spring Cleaning Fun!

Before I knew it we were all having fun and our floors have never looked better. Thank you Shark Rotator!

Safe & Sound with Puro Sound Labs!

Puro Sound Labs is a premier consumer electronics audio company that has recently launched their new hearing-healthy headphones for the entire family to enjoy!

"Puro Kids headphones are safe for a child’s hearing and sound terrific. They deliver studio-grade sound and protect our children’s hearing without compromising their listening experience."

I recently had the chance to review the Puro Sound Labs BT-2200 and I knew that my oldest son, Jackson, would be the perfect consumer for this product. He uses his current headphones daily with his iPad and my iPhone and I have heard him complain many times about the wire from his headphones getting in the way.

Here are just a few product features:

  • Volume-Optimized Ear Protection
  • 18 hours battery life for music playback & 200 hours standby
  • Durable, light weight aluminum construction
  • Supple protein leather ear cushions & headband
  • Microphone for 2-way calling
  • Puro EQ app for iOS
  • Folds flat for travel

Jackson's opinion of Puro Sounds Labs BT-200:

"These headphones are sweet!"

All he had to do was select Bluetooth in the settings section of his iPad and the headphones instantly picked up his device. He said the sound quality was great and my personal favorite feature of these headphones is that he can still hear me when I talk to him. Score!
You can purchase Puro Sound Labs products through authorized online resellers including Amazon.com and Purosound.com.

Fast & Furious Takeover!

Universal CityWalk Races onto the Scene with a Furious 7 Takeover,
Featuring Advance Screenings of the Highly-Anticipated Furious 7, a Fast & Furious Movie Marathon, a Display of Race Cars from the Film and Original Wardrobe Display
Advance Screenings of Furious 7 Begin on Thursday, April 2
Universal CityWalk revs up for a turbo-charged takeover with Universal Pictures’ Furious 7, featuring a flurry of activity in support of the film’s April 3 release, including a Fast & Furious movie marathon at the AMC Theatres, an exclusive first-look at Furious 7’s 1967 Camaro and an original costume display, including attire worn by Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson in the new action thriller.
As the choice L.A. destination to see the latest installment in the Fast & Furious film series, Universal CityWalk’s AMC Theatres will jump-start the excitement with advance screenings of Furious 7 starting at select times every seven minutes after the hour beginning on Thursday, April 2.  The AMC Theatres will also bridge the gap to this latest film with an exciting two-day movie marathon at CityWalk, featuring all previous six Fast & Furious films on Tuesday, March 31 and Thursday, April 2.
For more information and to purchase tickets to the advance screening of Furious 7 and the Fast & Furious movie marathon at the AMC Universal CityWalk Theatres and IMAX, visit www.CityWalkHollywood.com.
The exciting Furious 7 takeover also provides guests with an exclusive opportunity to get up close and personal with genuine artifacts from the new movie, including the 1967 Camaro that character Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) drives. Located on CityWalk, outside the AMC Theatre, the grey muscle car—with its 500 horsepower and 4x4 tires—offers fans a picture perfect photo opp through Sunday, April 5.
Authentic wardrobe worn by Dominic “Dom” Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) will also be on display exclusively at the AMC Theatres from Friday, March 20 through Friday, April 10.
The non-stop action and charged atmosphere shift into high gear as CityWalk’s state of the art outdoor concert venue, “5 Towers,” celebrates the Furious 7 takeover with a D.J. party spinning songs from the film series’ entire music library, including new sounds from the latest movie soundtrack as part of the opening weekend festivities from Thursday, April 2 through Saturday, April 4.

Universal Studios Hollywood will join in on the takeover as the theme park prepares to introduce its all-original thrill ride “Fast & Furious—Supercharged” on Thursday, June 25.

“Fast & Furious—Supercharged” is a technologically advanced, epic ride that reunites stars from the Fast & Furious series in a groundbreaking mega-attraction, conceived as a new installment to the dynamic Fast & Furious films that can only be experienced at The Entertainment Capital of L.A.  Featuring characters made famous by Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Luke Evans, “Fast & Furious—Supercharged” will catapult guests into the high-stakes underground world of fast cars in a harrowing escapade—at perceived speeds in excess of 120 miles per hour—to save one of their own from an international crime cartel.
Located within Universal Plaza, a convergence of original Fast & Furious prop cars will be on display for guests and fans of the film series, including Dom’s 1970 Dodger Charger R/T.  The black, V8-powered car first appeared in The Fast and the Furious and has been a mainstay in every action-packed film since. The grey 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner that Dom first drove in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift will also be on display, along with the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda that belonged to Letty in Fast & Furious 6.  The car display will be available throughout the summer.
