Fun Has Blossomed at Knott's Berry Farm!

This is the last week to get on over to Knott's Berry Farm and enjoy all of the Springtime fun going on at Knott's Berry Bloom! I recently took my little peanuts to experience Knott's Berry Bloom and the amazing Boysenberry Festival. My kids were so excited to participate in all of the fun activities included with general admission.

We searched for the Easter Beagle, played some Big Boardwalk Games and attended Peanuts' Party in the Park. My oldest son couldn't wait to taste his way through the Ghost Town with all the delicious Boysenberry dishes being served for the annual Boysenberry Festival. We tried some flank steak skewers dipped in boysenberry BBQ sauce, giant turkey legs smothered in boysenberry BBQ sauce, a boysenberry icee, boysenberry pie, boysenberry cupcakes and so much more! We hung out with friends, ran into the Peanuts Gang and made so many amazing memories!

One of our favorite memories from this visit was stopping by the Calico Carver for the very first time. How have I not done this before? These guys are awesome! Tucker and Kris called our kids over for a really cool demo and the kids went nuts. They got so into watching the wood carving that they all asked for their very own wood signs. This is a great souvenir idea. Something they will have forever. When my brother was 12 years old, he went to Knott's Berry Farm with his friend and actually brought me back a souvenir. It was a beautiful wooden box that was hand painted and said "Knott's Berry Farm" on it. I still have it 20 years later. Thanks so much to Tucker and Kris for making our visit so memorable. The kids love their signs and put them up in their rooms. You guys rock!

Knott's Berry Bloom runs until Sunday, April 27th so hop on over and make some memories of your own!

Spring DVD Round Up!

Easter is just around the corner and I have been so busy trying to find goodies and knick knacks to fill 3 Easter baskets. Candy and toys are a given, but I always like to throw in a little something special for each of my children. Something that will get more use than just 15 minutes. This year, so many great DVD's have been releasing left and right. I just had to put together a list of some DVD's that are available in stores now and would make the perfect addition to any child's Easter basket!

The ponies are eager to put on a show, but there's a hitch - their caravan and carousel need rebuilding. With teamwork, know-how, and lots of laughter and fun, the Lalas get the ponies up and running again.

Birds of Paradise: Meet the Flockers

When Jack (Drake Bell, "Drake & Josh", "iCarly") - an ordinary sparrow with dreams of becoming an extraordinary bird - is accidentally covered in colorful paint, he is thrilled about his new exotic appearance and believes that he'll now be able to impress Aurora (Ashley Tisdale, "High School Musical"), a beautiful canary who has recently escaped from her indoor cage. But when Aurora's mean owner, Mr. Potter, finds her, Jack must enlist the help of his best friends - Vinnie (Ken Jeong, "Despicable Me 2"), the loyal pigeon, and Skeeter (Jon Lovitz, "The Benchwarmers"), the hyper hummingbird - as well as Rosie (Jane Lynch, "Glee") the caring bat and the wise Old Buzzard (Keith David, "Free Birds") in order to free her. And along the way, Jack and Aurora will learn that it's not what you look like on the outside but who you are on the inside that truly counts.

Alpha and Omega 3: The Great Wolf Games

Join the pack in this wild, warmhearted and totally pawsome adventure starring everyone's favorite alphas and omegas! It's time for the "Great Wolf Games", when all the alphas in the packs set aside their differences for some friendly competition. Can Coach Humphrey lead his ragtag group of "underdogs" to victory? Find out in this thrilling movie that will leave you howling for more.

Power Rangers Megaforce: The Great Dragon Spirit

Legends of OZ: Dorothy's Return in Theaters!

Dorothy’s only just returned home from her first incredible journey to Oz, but she’s already being called back for another adventure! After waking to post-tornado Kansas, Dorothy (Lea Michele) and Toto are whisked to Oz on a magical rainbow mover sent by their old friends the Scarecrow (Dan Aykroyd), the Lion (Jim Belushi) and the Tin Man (Kelsey Grammer). Time in Oz has passed much faster than back in Kansas, and Dorothy discovers that the Jester (Martin Short) – the devious brother of the Wicked Witch of the West – is taking Oz over one region at a time, holding their leaders captive and casting a pall of darkness over the beloved land. Even Glinda (Bernadette Peters) is unable to combat the Jester’s evil powers, making Dorothy their only hope.

When she arrives in Oz, Dorothy’s plan is to travel to the Emerald City to reunite with her old friends and join forces with them to stop the Jester. However, the yellow brick road isn’t quite as easy to follow this time around, especially with the Jester planting tricky detours to lead her astray, so she enlists the help of Wiser the owl (Oliver Platt), Marshal Mallow (Hugh Dancy), China Princess (Megan Hilty) and Tugg the tugboat (Patrick Stewart) to help find her way.

Dorothy is grateful for the support of her new friends, but when she realizes that having them by her side means putting them all in grave danger, she has to decide whether to continue to accept their assistance or forge the road alone. But with the future of Oz at stake, it’s going to take as much heart, brain and courage as they can collectively muster to defeat the Jester and return order and happiness to the Emerald City.

You won't want to miss this star-studded voice cast including Lea Michele, Hugh Dancy, Jim Belushi, Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd, Kelsey Grammer, Oliver Platt, Bernadette Peters and Patrick Stewart.

Legends of OZ: Dorothy's Return hits theaters this May!
